We buy these but they do get holes poked in them from the dogs claws and they work really well if your dog is older and you just can’t push them off of bed in their senior days. Or if you have a husband that likes to drink his coffee in bed (mines an amputee so he spends a lot of time in bed) and might spill it every now and then. For those things it’s amazing. The drawbacks is it’s a little hot, and slippery even when you put another mattress pad over it and use the elastic clips the sheets slip off and when you do have to change them for a new one if you have a king like mine you’re in for a wrestling match.

I don’t even notice it.

I don’t notice it at all. I’ve had this for a few years and truly there’s no noise, no feel, no nothing. I’ve never slept on this mattress without the cover as we wanted to protect it from day one, but I don’t think we’re missing anything as it’s so comfy. I travel a lot and we bought a nice mattress so I constantly marvel at how nice it is to come home to my bed. I read some reviews that people think it’s too noisy or crinkly but I have no idea what they could be talking about. As I write this I’m bouncing and tossing on my bed trying to see if I can hear or feel anything, hoping I could see where they’re coming from, and I just can’t. Maybe there’s a different product from the same vendor, an upgrade from one year to another, or who knows. For me, this is great!
